Griselda Frances Sinclair Pollock (born 11 March 1949) is a visual theorist, cultural analyst and scholar of international, postcolonial feminist studies in the visual arts.Based in England, she is known for her theoretical and methodological innovation, combined with readings of historical and contemporary art, film and cultural theory.

Over a career in which she has produced more than 25 books and at least 200 articles and essays, Griselda Pollock has always upheld the highest level of scholarship while challenging received wisdom and institutional hierarchies of thought and value. For this she has been a beacon for generations of art and cultural historians.
